More information about the tea in the description below. More
A yellow tea from the Huang Shan (Yellow Mountain) region of China's Anhui province with a large, wire-like leaf.
Produced using traditional Chinese methods, this tea has a distinctive flavour with a natural sweetness and hints of nuts and bread.
This multi-flavoured tea is also suitable for evening sipping due to its lower caffeine (tein) content.
Yellow teas have been known in China since the 17th century and only a very small proportion is exported.
1 small teaspoon per cup. Pour the tea into a strainer or directly into a cup and pour in water at 80-90°C. Allow to infuse for 3-5 minutes, then remove the strainer or strain the tea. Higher water temperatures or longer steeping times may cause the tea to turn bitter. Multiple infusions can be made from one portion of tea.
